Postal options offered in our online shopping process are only for delivery within Australia.  Orders are usually sent via Australia Post, using their parcel satchels – either regular or express satchels.  Australia Post prices are set by the carrier according to the size of the satchel and we don’t add anything to their prices.

Once posted by us, your Australia Post regular parcel should arrive in 2 to 5 workings days (Queensland and major cities – other areas may take up to a week or more depending on Australia Post).  These delivery time frames are an indication only as provided by Australia Post and we cannot guarantee them.  Express Post parcels will arrive the next Business Day provided you are in the express post network – we are posting in Brisbane Metro area.  For more detail on delivery standards please refer to Australia Post.

For urgent orders, we suggest you choose express post satchels.  Please check Australia Post to see if your area is covered by Express Postal services.

Australia Post delivery costs

If you are ordering more than one small costume or sheet set  please ensure you select the up to 3kg regular or express satchel, otherwise additional postage will be charged prior to goods being sent.  Multiple kindy sheet orders and orders including pillows will need to post in the 5kg size satchel.  Please be aware that very large orders may require the larger up to 5kg satchel or multiple 5kg satchels and this may cost extra.  In this instance we will contact you once your order has been received if an adjustment is required. 

Australia Post now allows you to register regular parcel satchels for an additional $3.05.  This applies to the 500g and up to 3kg size Regular Parcel satchels only at the moment.  Australia Post will obtain a signature on delivery for registered items and each parcel is given a unique identification number.  Please contact us if you would like request Registered post as this is a non standard service.  Please note “Registered Post” in your order comments when completing your order.

Australia Post Platinum Express service sends your parcel the next business day with a signature obtain upon delivery for a more secure service.  Please check Australia Post to see if your area is covered by Platinum Express Postal services.  Please note Platinum Express service is only available by arrangement prior to ordering and an additional charge will be payable on top of express post charges for this service.

Australia Post Orders – please note that while all due care is taken in packing your order, we cannot be responsible for damage in transit. Australia Post do not offer any guarantee that your items will arrive in one piece regardless of how well we pack them and there is no insurance service available for damaged goods.  Insurance against loss of items is available from Australia Post for an additional cost – please request a quote prior to ordering.

Overseas Delivery

For overseas orders please note that the postage charges will vary depending on your location, delivery method or time frame and the goods ordered.  The extra postage costs to send Registered international airmail to some countries are listed in “Overseas Delivery Charges”.  Costs will vary depending on the weight of the merchandise and are subject to variation once parcelas are weighed.

If you would like to discuss International post options please contact us prior to ordering for a postal quote or refer to Australia Post for guidelines.  Options incluse sea (affordable but slow), air (affordable and quicker) or express (costly but fast).

Insurance

Postage insurance ensures that items lost in transit are replaced.  Uninsured items that are misplaced by Australia Post are not the responsibility of dressups by Tina although we record the satchel number for every delivery and will happily lodge a missing item report with Australia Post as required.

Postal insurance can only be provided where you have requested a quote prior to ordering.  Postage and insurance costs will vary depending on the parcel size and delivery destination.  Australia post insurance only covers items lost in transit, not any damage to items during transit.  This option is not offered by Australia Post at all

For a more secure method of delivery Australia post offer a Platinium Express satchel service in their designated platinum network.  This service provides express delivery and a signature is obtained upon delivery of the parcel.  Please check Australia Post to see if your area is covered by Platinum Express Postal services prior to requesting this service.  Once this is confirmed order express post and note “Express Platinum Post” in the order comments.  Additional postage as noted above will be payable prior when ordering.
